Part II Pathology Student
I am a third year Medical student at University of Cambridge (King's College) intercalating in Pathology. I have strong interests in cancer biology and genetics, especially when clinically relevant. I am so excited to do my project with the Boemo group as I have always been interested in exploring the intersection between computing and biology.
In the summer I enjoyed completing a research project in Singapore investigating splicing of a protein called ZAP and then another project with the University of Liverpool about detecting 'microclots' in septic mice models. Despite being relatively inexperienced with bioinformatics and coding, I am eager to expand my skillset and improve my understanding of cancer biology with this project.
In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, sewing, reading, rowing, and playing the piano, flute and clarinet.
