Darshana completes summer project in malaria computational biology

Our summer student Darshana Marathe has completed a summer research project using computational biology to understand the effect of DNA damaging agents in Plasmodium falciparum. Darshana was successful in funding this project via a studentship from Pembroke College and she was mentored by Sarah. As an exciting example of integrating different disciplines at Cambridge, Darshana will go on to do Part II Engineering as part of her pre-clinical medicine course.
