Faye wins first prize for Part II project

Our Part II Pathology student, Faye Lynch Williams, has won the prize for the best Part II research project in cancer biology. Faye was supervised by our PhD student Pauline and she carried out a two-term research project using computational biology to study replication-transcription interactions. Faye was off to America straight after this photo was taken, having won a competitive summer studentship to undertake a research project at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Her studies will resume in the autumn as she shifts her focus to clinical training. Congratulations and well done Faye!
