We are very proud of our MPhil student XiangRu Huang who successfully defended her MPhil thesis on the replication timing of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. During her time with us, XiangRu worked closely with Professor Catherine Merrick's lab (also located in the Cambridge Department of Pathology) and made huge contributions to the malaria side of our research. XiangRu's examiners were Dr Mary-Kay Thompson (University of Oxford) and Dr Andrew Blagborough (University of Cambridge). We're really looking forward to seeing all the great things XiangRu does next and it was an absolute pleasure to have her in the lab for her MPhil.
