Francisco successfully defends PhD thesis in applied mathematics at UCL

Our postdoc Francisco Berkemeier has successfully defended his PhD thesis which he completed at UCL with his supervisor Karen Page. The topic of Francisco's PhD research was mathematical modelling of the Notch-Delta signalling pathway in epithelial tissues of Drosophila, and he has since published a paper on this work in Mathematical Biosciences.
