Rosie wins conference poster prize

Many congratulations to our PhD student, Rosie Berners-Lee, who won the prize for best poster at the 2026 Genomics at Scale conference which was hosted by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and EMBL. Rosie's poster highlighted her recent work using genome language models to understand the placement of replication origins in human cells, a project which she balances alongside a similar line of research in malaria parasites. Congratulations Rosie and we are all very proud of you!
