Our third-year PhD student Sarah and second-year PhD student Pauline have been successful in a competitive interview process and will join the Cambridge Bio-spark programme for the 2023-2024 academic year. This programme runs alongside their PhD research and enables them to work on scientific challenges with mentorship from pharmaceutical companies. Pauline will work with Johnson & Johnson on light-activated drug molecules for targeted therapies and Sarah will work with AstraZeneca on the non-coding genome.
